Introducing our 2025 guide to high school scholarships

With the rising cost of education in South Africa, it’s getting harder than ever to secure the best opportunities for your child.

While schools like UCT Online High School are on a mission to provide quality, affordable education, we’re still out of reach for many South African families. Lots of parents and guardians need to explore external sources of funding to help them finance their children’s education.

Unfortunately, options for funding are limited and application information can be difficult to find. That’s why we’ve put together our scholarship guide: To jumpstart your journey to securing the best possible educational opportunities for your child.

What’s inside the guide?

Our guide provides you with a full overview of which corporations, foundations and individual schools offer scholarships for high school learners.

It details the requirements and criteria for applying for all scholarship programmes included in the guide, and what documents you need to submit as part of your application.

We also provide information on what expenses are covered by the scholarships and when (approx.) you’ll need to submit your application.

Finally, we provide you with some of our top tips for applying for scholarships.
